Michael Caine and Sean Connery star as two former British soldiers who travel to Afghanistan and set up a con to make themselves rich.  Based on a short story by Rudyard Kipling, this film also stars Christopher Plummer and was directed by John Huston.

Mark-Linn Baker stars as a young writer on a popular live comedy/variety TV show in the 1950’s. This hilarious film is a love letter to live television with an outstanding cast including Joseph Bologna, Bill Macy, Lainie Kazan, Jessica Harper, and Peter O’Toole as a swashbuckling Errol Flynn type movie star.

The winner of the 1967 Oscar for Best Picture (as well as four other Oscars), this film is set in a small Mississippi town where an unusual murder has been committed. Sidney Poitier stars as a Philadelphia police detective who helps the prejudiced sheriff, superbly portrayed by Rod Steiger, to solve the case.
